Every creation begins with a personalized consultation at Annette Girardon’s design studio on Rue du Mont Thabor in Paris. Together, we will determine the color and type of the center stone: diamond or colored gemstone? Precious stone or semi-precious stone? What color?
Before delving into design details, we will assess the overall size of the ring to be created.
Next, our conversation will lead to design ideas, which will be developed by Annette Girardon.
The choice of other materials, such as the color of the metal and the pavé stones, will also be discussed.
It is very important to know the ring size from the outset.

During a second appointment, Annette Girardon will present the project to you, often in the form of a gouache drawing, sometimes modeled using design software. At this point, you will have all the information you need to make your choice.
The center stone is the heart of the engagement ring. Whether you’re looking for a diamond, a precious colored gemstone, or a semi-precious stone, Annette Girardon will guide you. You’ll see, it’s a fascinating world. Perhaps you’ll discover gems you never knew existed?
You can also bring in a stone you already own. We can take it from a family heirloom that is dear to you. Perhaps you purchased a stone yourself while traveling?
In keeping with the tradition of French jewelry-making, each stage of the process is entrusted to a specialist. As a result, at least six people will work on your piece. Everything takes place within Paris.
From the moment you place your order, please allow between five weeks and three months for the creation of your ring.
The price will depend on the cost of the center stone, the complexity of the design, the number of small pavé stones to be set, the weight of the ring, and the time required to develop a new design. Therefore, it is difficult to estimate a budget without knowing the specifics of the project. Based on our experience, you should expect to spend at least between €4,000 and €6,000 for an engagement ring with a small natural diamond. However, budgets for custom-made designs typically range from €6,000 to €10,000. Sometimes we may exceed that amount.
